ST. MARY’S LIFETEEN!!!!
Happy Third Sunday of Easter!
Hello folks, Happy Easter! Last Friday, May 2nd, Life Teen started our new unit of content centered around the day to day struggles and pressures that teenagers are facing in the world today. If you read the bulletin regularly you will notice that I said something similar last week; unfortunately, I forgot about April break so we postponed the content by one week to this past Friday. If you are in eighth through twelfth grade please join us on Friday, May 2nd, at 6:30pm for our Faith Friday content! We will be discussing conflict in relationships, so if you’ve ever found yourself not knowing how best to resolve conflict please be sure to stop by. The night ends at 8:30pm. Over the next few weeks please be on the lookout for our Summer of Fun schedule. The semester is beginning to wind down, and starting in June we will begin our Summer of Fun. The purpose of Summer of Fun is to provide the teens of the parish with opportunities to get out, socialize, and have fun, so if you know any teens who might be interested please get the word out!
Last but not least, it is with a heavy heart that I announce I am leaving the role of St. Mary’s youth minister at the end of May. These past two years have been an incredible blessing for me, but with a growing family I have discerned that it is time for me to return to teaching full time. I am extremely grateful to Father Wayne, Father Dominic, all our staff and volunteers/CORE members, and most importantly to all the teens and families of the St. Mary’s community. Please pray for the Life Teen program and for a new youth minister!

What is Life Teen?
We believe that when a teenager encounters Christ through the beauty of the Catholic faith, they will be transformed. We’ve seen it happen time and time again.
Life Teen consists of resources that provide solid Catholic teaching and youth ministry experience for the youth in high school. The goal of Life Teen is to provide a safe and fun place for our youth to find a solid Catholic community, get answers to their questions, and most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. In short, Life Teen seeks to lead teens closer to Christ. Come check out the program, it will change your life!
