ST. MARY’S LIFETEEN!!!!

Happy Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time!

Hello folks, happy Sunday!  Lent is almost here, so please join Life Teen for our last night in our ongoing series about the dignity of the human person after the 5pm Mass on Sunday, 2/23.  Mike and Theresa will be sharing their talk about the soul; the evening will end at 7:30pm.  Be sure to invite a friend!  In addition, the Life Teen retreat is coming up quickly, be sure to mark April 11th – 13th on your calendars!  Life Teen will be returning to Camp Methodios for a weekend away in beautiful rural New Hampshire to dive into the faith, and have fun while doing it.  Please reach out to me for more information and to sign up!

If you saw last week’s bulletin you may have noticed that Life Teen will be piloting a restructured program for the next couple of months.  First and foremost, we are not getting rid of the Life Teen Mass, instead we are shifting content that would normally follow the Mass to Friday nights.  The reason for this shift is because many teens have found it difficult to balance Life Teen with spending time with their families, their school work, and other extracurricular activities at the end of the weekend.  By shifting to Friday and renovating the lifehouse to create a dedicated space for praise and worship we aim to provide the teens of our parish the opportunity to grow in faith and fellowship without putting a strain on their academics and family life.  Because we are having Adoration and content on Friday nights we will be combining it with Pizza and Prayer, making Sundays the nights for socializing should teens wish to stay after Mass.  The core team and I are committed to doing whatever we can to best serve the teens!

We are Moving!!!!!!!!!

 St. Mary’s Life Teen is moving to Friday Nights!!!

Beginning on Friday, March 7th, we will launch the New Life Teen Schedule, which will include Adoration, Teen Discussion, Life Night & Pizza!!  The evening begins at 7:00 pm and ends by 9:30 pm.

 Life Teen Mass is still Sundays at 5:00 pm followed by Supper for the Soul and activities.
