This week, I will begin to share a few thoughts on the  Dos and Don’ts while we are at Mass.  No, there are no issues or concerns at how we are doing things here in the parish during the Mass.  This is just a simple reminder to us of the importance of the Holy Mass.  This week let’s look at fasting.

Fasting: It doesn’t even really feel like a fast anymore because it has been shortened to just an hour. The Church requires every person to begin preparing to receive Jesus present in the Eucharist by observing an hour fast from food unless they’re aged or sick. This is a small sacrifice that expresses our love for the Lord and for all that He sacrificed for us.
