In this weekend’s Gospel, St. Thomas makes the claim: “My Lord and My God.”  This recognition of Jesus’ identity exclaimed by St. Thomas, perhaps, can fuel our prayers during these days of Easter.  Whether we are at Holy Mass, in the Adoration Chapel, or at home, we can simply affirm the identity of Jesus by praying the words of St. Thomas: “My Lord and My God.”  In that moment, you are offering to Jesus an Act of Adoration ~ an Act of Love.

In these days, it is good for us to pause and reflect on  the fact that Christ has truly risen from the dead.  This gives us the hope we so desperately need.  Jesus offers us His peace today through the words of the Gospel.  Make your response to His peace by crying out: “My Lord and My God.

Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Fr. Wayne
