During the Season of Lent, over 80 men and women from the parish were engaged in a Lenten Program of perspective; that is, seeing the events of the Cross through the eyes of Christ.  Throughout Lent and Holy Week, we journeyed to the Cross.  It was there that we reflected on what Christ saw and may even perhaps, have thought from his vantage point.  From that view, we entered the Garden of Gethsemane, the Upper Room, the Praetorium, the Temple, and walked the Way of the Cross ~ the Via Dolorosa ~ to the hill of Calvary.  We, also, witnessed the faces and heard the voices of the onlookers, the soldiers, Our Lady, St. John, and Mary Magdalen.   All this was done so that we could perhaps take on the eyes of Christ in a unique way and see what He saw.  Now, we leave the scene of the hill of Calvary to journey to the Empty Tomb.  Here, we see the purpose of it all!   He has Risen from the dead just as He said and conquered sin and death.  Let us cry out with one voice Alleluia!

Happy Easter ~ Buona Pasqua!

Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Fr. Wayne
