As we conclude constructing a Plan of Life, let’s end with adding in the Prayer of the Memorare. This is a prayer of petition to our Lady. As you say this prayer daily, offer it for a specific person and their needs. As you do so, recall the beautiful words: “never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.”
The Memorare Prayer is:
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled
to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought
thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do
I come, before thee I stand, sinful and
sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear
and answer me. Amen.
Now that you have a framework for an effective Plan of Life, add any favorite prayers or devotions into it. Perhaps add a time for Eucharistic Adoration.
