This weekend, we celebrate the feast of the Holy Trinity.  The Trinity manifests to us the immense love that exists between the Three Persons of the Trinity; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  The Holy Trinity is a communion of love.  Not only that, but the Holy Trinity is the source of love.  This love motivates us to fulfill the Gospel command of Jesus this day:  “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”   What did He command us to do? “Love one another as I have loved you.”  So, go out into the world and make that love known ~ never forgetting that authentic love will always involve sacrifice.  The Holy Cross of Jesus teaches us that reality.  Reflect on these words of St. Josemaria and make them part of your thanksgiving after receiving Holy Communion.

God is with you. The Blessed Trinity dwells in your soul in grace.  Learn to have a special devotion to the Blessed Trinity: I believe in God the Father, I believe in God the Son, I believe in God the Holy Spirit; I hope in God the Father, I hope in God the Son, I hope in God the Holy Spirit; I love God the Father, I love God the Son, I love God the Holy Spirit. I believe in, I hope in and I love the most Holy Trinity.”

Yours in Christ,
