In this Fourth Sunday of Advent, the stage is being set for the birth of Christ. We encounter Mary and Joseph; we acknowledge the presence of the Holy Spirit; we hear the voice of the Angel; and His name is pronounced. Over the past four weeks, we have been preparing for this moment. In just a few days, the stockings will be filled, the trees will be trimmed, and all the gifts will be wrapped. With all those preparations being finished, take the time now to reflect on the scene of the Gospel today. Visit, in prayer, those who are introduced in the Gospel. Make the necessary preparations to welcome the Christ Child into your hearts and homes this week.

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!
