It is that time again! This is that one weekend that I always makes me feel uncomfortable for one simple reason ~ I loathe asking people for money. Yet, as pastor, I must step outside my comfort-zone and do just that. This weekend is our parish Grand Annual Collection. Many have received in the mail or bulletin last week a detailed letter regarding the specific need for this year’s Grand Annual Collection. This year’s Grand Annual is being earmarked for the completion of the exterior painting of the Church windows, replacement of the roof in the Parish Center, and masonry work and roof repair at the rectory. In order to do this work, I have set the Grand Annual goal again at $100,000. This is a goal that I am confident we can reach based on last year’s results. We ask that you consider what you would like to give in this year’s collection. PLEASE only give in a manner that your means allow. Any gift will be greatly appreciated and 100% of the collection remains in the parish. Many thanks for all you do and may God continue to bless each of you for your love and generosity to our beloved parish.
