St. Mary’s Life Teen is a youth ministry program here at the parish geared towards leading teens closer to Christ. We do that by offering a variety of fun and prayerful events to help teens realize the work Christ is doing in their lives and to help them navigate the craziness that is being a teenager this day in age.
Make sure to join us every Sunday night for our Life Teen Mass at 5pm followed by the Life Night, as well as Pizza and Prayer every Monday night at 6:00pm in the Life House.
This past Sunday, CORE Member of the Year, Matthew, led our teens in a discussion on Atheism. He explored with our teens some of the issues and questions they may face and have to answer from family and friends who do not believe in the existence of God. During the night, our teens had to present convincing arguments on a host of topics and be judged on whose explanation was most credible/believable.
This Sunday, we will pause and break from our normal Life Night Schedule to enjoy a Super Bowl Party. This party is open to all High School teens who want to hang out and watch the game together on the projection screen in the Life House. Throughput the game there will be activities and food. Come and join us for the Super Bowl.
On Sunday, February 19th, we will be heading out together to King’s Bowling for a fun bowling outing to kick off the School Vacation Week. We will leave St. Mary’s after the Life Teen Mass and return by 8:45 pm. We will have dinner at the lanes. Any high school teen is welcome to join us. All you need to bring is your appetite and desire to win. Special prize goes to the winning team!
Finally, on Monday, February 20th join us for a Special Pizza and Prayer in the Life House beginning at 6:00 pm. After a time of prayer and Adoration, we will have a Mardi Gras Celebration. There will be traditional Mardi Gras food and fun activities.
