This weekend I invite each of you to pause and reflect on the sacrifices that were and continue to be made for our independence, freedom and security. For years countless men and women have accepted the call to defend our rights and freedoms. Alongside, in history, to our Founding Fathers, some have served within these United States and others were called to serve abroad. Each have made significant sacrifices. Those who fought for our independence, our Veterans (many who offered their lives for our nation), our Police Officers, and those currently in our Armed Forces are owed a debt of gratitude. We owe all of them a constant place in our thoughts and prayers. Please offer a special prayer this weekend for them and all who serve our nation in such an honorable fashion.
