WELCOME HOME!!!
After many, many, many long weeks, we are finally back home in person to celebrate the Holy Mass together. As you have heard me state on many occasions, you were all present at every Holy Mass that was celebrated. When a priest says Holy Mass, he is never alone. The Communion of Saints, Angels, the faithful, our Lady, and God, Himself, are there at the Altar. This weekend, however, is special because each of you will be physically present in the Church. So let me say . . . Welcome Home!
In order to comply with Federal, State, and Local guidelines, we have made some adjustments to the Holy Mass Schedule and the physical layout of the Church.
First of all, please allow me to say a word on the adjusted Holy Mass Schedule. We have decided to add an extra Holy Mass on Saturday at 5:15 pm. Also, with the exception of the 5:00 pm Sunday LifeTeen Mass, the other Holy Masses will be celebrated in both the Church and in Mary Hall. Once the Church has reached the capacity set forth by the governor, Mary Hall will be opened to accommodate the overflow. All daily Masses will be celebrated in the Church until further notice. The Church will be cleaned & disinfected after each Mass. We have purchased high-powered equipment that makes this process safe and time efficient.
Secondly, designated seating for the Church and Mary Hall has been clearly marked. Ushers will greet you at the doors and point out the area for seating. We ask that you be patient and comply with your seating location. You will be asked to sit in the manner in which we have been mandated to maintain safe distancing.
Thirdly, the distribution of Holy Communion will take place at the conclusion of Holy Mass. Again, ushers will instruct you on the location of distribution based on your seating assignment. Once you receive our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, you should exit the Church and make an Act of Thanksgiving in your vehicle before leaving the Church grounds.
Finally, I wish to take an opportunity to thank all those who helped make possible the live-streaming of the Holy Masses and other Church Services. A special word of thanks to all who have continued to contribute to the parish during the pandemic. I ask God to bless each of you for your love, support, and example during these difficult days.
Faithfully Yours in Christ,
Fr. Wayne
