Can you imagine just sitting at the feet of Jesus and looking Him in the eyes? Can you imagine sitting still and listening to Him speak to you? Can you imagine abandoning yourself and adoring Him? Wait ~ you don’t need to imagine it. The opportunity is there for you free from distractions to do what Mary did in today’s Gospel. You can be in His presence, listen to His voice, and adore Him. Let us not forget that this encounter with the Lord begins with Mass; and, then our parish is blessed to be able to extend this blessed moment beyond the Mass in Perpetual Adoration. I encourage each of you to take advantage of the Masses celebrated here daily and on the weekend. We have Holy Mass offered 17 times each week. We have Eucharistic Adoration available 168 hours each week. You have ample opportunities to spend time with the Lord. Don’t be like Martha, who was anxious and worried about many things. She missed a chance to just be with the Lord. Don’t make the same mistake!
