ST. MARY’S LIFETEEN!!!!

Happy Third Sunday of Lent!

Hi folks! Last Sunday was an active one for Life Teen as we spent our time doing acts of service! After a scrumptious dinner, we had a presentation about the call to service found in Scripture. We then transitioned to making gift bags for nursing home residents, writing letters to the incarcerated, and putting together toiletry kits for a homeless shelter.

Since gratitude is such an important component of service, we also took time to express our gratitude to Fr. Wayne, who gives all of himself to our Parish and the surrounding community. A few of our teens even wrote and performed their own songs and rap lyrics!

If you are in middle school or high school, invite a friend and join us for this Sunday’s Life Night! We will be hosting a Karaoke Night after dinner… we’ll have a lip sync dance battle, karaoke, and more! Whether you like to sing or not, there will be fun for everyone.

Last call to register for Life Teen’s Spring Retreat! Its theme is “Glory Revealed,” a retreat on the Face of Christ.  It will take place the weekend of March 27-29th at Betania II Retreat Center in Medway. We will leave St. Mary’s Friday evening and will conclude with the 5 pm Life Teen Mass on Sunday. It’ll be a blast and a great way to step away from the busyness of everyday life! Permission slips can be found in entrances to the church and Parish Center.
