Thank You Elizabeth!

On June 25, 2009, Elizabeth Healy began her ministry here at St. Mary’s.  She initially joined the staff in the capacity of Parish Religious Education Director and RCIA Coordinator.  For years, she served the parish faithfully in this vital ministry by communicating the importance of the faith to our children, their families, and adults seeking the Sacraments.

Recognizing her gifts, talents, and strengths, Elizabeth was asked to take on the position of Pastoral Associate, and on May 18, 2017 she accepted that role.  As Pastoral Associate, Elizabeth began a new chapter in her selfless service to the Church.  She embraced this new role with faith and enthusiasm.  She initiated programs and spiritual activities that have enhanced the faith life here at St. Mary’s.  Her love for the faith was expressed through Gospel Studies, Book Clubs, devotional practices, coordination of our Women’s Group, Pastoral Counseling, Marriage Preparation, Adult Faith Formation Presentations, weekly bulletin articles, Lectoring and Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, just to highlight a few of her contributions.

We are grateful for all she has done for the parish.  Elizabeth has decided that it is time for her to retire so as to spend more time with her fast-growing family.  As she steps out of the role of Pastoral Associate and into the role of grandmother, we wish her well.  Elizabeth will conclude her ministry among us at the end of this month.  May God bless her and may she know of our love and gratitude.

Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Fr. Wayne
