As we enter Thanksgiving week, during which we express our gratitude, I would like to ask each of you to take a brief moment and reflect on what you are most grateful for this past year.  Even though the feast of Thanksgiving, along with family traditions, family gatherings, and great food masterpieces comes but once a year, our expression of gratitude should be something we express each and every day.  Blessed Don Alvaro used an expression that I feel may help foster in our hearts a spirit of gratitude.  Each day he would say several times: “thank you, forgive me, help me more.” As you say this simple prayer, think of what you are thankful for, reflect on what you are most sorry for, and discover that area of your life in which you wish to grow.  May God’s blessings be with all of you this Thanksgiving Day.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your loved ones!
