From the desert to the mountain top, Jesus continues to bring each of us on a journey of a lifetime. Last Sunday, we encountered Jesus in the desert after the Holy Spirit drove Him their. While in the desert, He endured temptations and persevered. Jesus indeed is more powerful than the devil. No temptation, no fast, and certainly no deceit of the devil proved to be a match for the Lord. As He prevailed against the devil, He will do so again each time we overcome temptation and sin in our lives. He is with us! As a consequence, no matter what desert experience we endure — we shall be victorious with Christ at our side! And so, here we are on top of the mountain for the Transfiguration. Right before the eyes of the disciples, and our own eyes, the Lord is transfigured. This is yet another sign of His power over sin and death. I don’t know about you, but each time I am with the Lord, I cry out: “Lord, it is good to be here
