This weekend we celebrate the Nickel Anniversary of our Life Teen Program.  In 1997 St. Mary’s launched a program that was designed to engage High School teens in the catholic faith.  Twenty-eight years later it has become an integral part of our parish life.  St. Mary’s has been blessed by this program which has also fed other programs within our parish, the Archdiocese of

Boston, and beyond.  From St. Mary’s LifeTeen five young men went on to the priesthood, one is currently in the seminary, a young woman has gone into the convent, and countless marriages and friendships were formed all from this one program.  The Nickel Anniversary symbolizes resilience and durability.  St. Mary’s LifeTeen embodies that and will continue to grow.  This year’s theme is Radiant Hope as embodied by our Lady.  Please continue to pray for the teens, the Core, our director, and for continued fruits to be harvested from our Life Teen program.  May God who has begun this great work in our parish bring it to fulfillment!

“And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”  ~ Matthew 28:20
