The images of Himself that Jesus provides us with are intended to give us an indication of who He is and why He matters in our lives. Last week, He compared Himself to a shepherd who protects the flock. He furthered the imagery by stating that He is the gatekeeper and gate. This weekend, He tells us that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the way that leads to the Father; He is the Truth that is the standard by which all things are measured; He is the life that renews the world. Take these images to prayer this week; see the path He has opened to you and follow.
