In the Gospel this weekend, we hear: “The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trust-worthy in great ones.”  On Fr. Dominic’s desk, he has a plaque that quotes St. Mother Teresa: “Do small things, with great love.” Also, St. Josemaria reminds us to do the ordinary things with love.  These are clear indications for us to concentrate on doing those seemingly simple tasks, and to put all our effort into them.  Not only that, but we should undertake those tasks that may appear menial or beneath us.  These, too, we should do with great love.  In God’s eyes, no task is too small.  If you need confirmation on that recall Jesus washing the feet of his disciples.
