In today’s Psalm, we proclaim: “Go out to all the world and tell the Good News.” This is a reminder to all of us that we are called to be disciples of Christ. As disciples, we are expected to tell the Good News. That means each and every one of us in word and action must make Christ known. The obligation to do just that is not restricted to a simple few. This is something that we must all do together. Christ calls us to announce the Good News of the Gospel. In doing so, we are given the opportunity – the ability to make Christ known, to manifest Christ to the world. This is an awesome responsibility given to us and one that we should not take lightly. So today as you hear the words of the Psalm and as you receive Jesus present in the Eucharist, remember you have to go out to all the world and tell the Good News. Will you?
