On behalf of the entire Parish Staff here at St. Mary’s, I would like to wish each and every one of you a happy and blessed Easter. This past week revealed to us the depths of God’s mercy and love. Each of the Masses and Services that were celebrated spoke loudly of the sacrifice that was made for you and me. As, I said on Palm Sunday, this was done for us, for our salvation. From Palm Sunday throughout Holy Week, the beauty, the reverence, and the care that was shown was inspirational. On that note, I wish to thank the staff, who did a great deal of work behind the scenes. To our Music Director Kyle, the musicians, and the choir for all their efforts in enhancing our liturgies with the gift of music, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude. I want to express my thanks to Brandon and the Life Teen band for helping us enter into these past days with joy and love. In particular, I want to thank the members of Life Teen, who participated in the dramatic presentation of the Passion of Christ, under the direction of our Youth Director, Kevin. Also, thank you to all the servers, lectors, extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist, and coordinators for going above and beyond what has been expected. We are truly blessed here at St. Mary’s Church and I hope that this past week has been one in which you experienced the profound love that God has for each of us. May God bless you and our parish family in this Easter Season.
