In today’s Gospel, Jesus repeats three times: “Peace be with you.” After the second time that He offers peace, He then gives His disciples a sacred task/mission.  He says: “As the Father has sent me, I now send you.”  This was a command given not only to those gathered in that room; but also, it is a command given to each of us.  We are called to go out into the world and spread the Gospel message in word and deed.  Jesus suffered, died, and rose from the dead for the salvation of the world — that is a story worth telling!  Don’t miss an opportunity to get this message out there.  Jesus is counting on us to do this.  He has done much for us, which we have witnessed during Holy Week. What do you think ~ is this something that you can do for Him?  Remember, “as the Father has sent Me, I now send you!”  The only thing left to do is go and do what we have been asked and expected.

Happy Easter ~ Buona Pasqua!

Sincerely Yours in Christ,
