Last weekend was extraordinary for our parish family. The Church grounds were bursting with activity. Our Religious Education Program for K-5 began and the parish center was completely full with staff, teachers, and students. Then in the late afternoon, the EDGE program for grades 6-8 began. The middle schoolers descended on the newly renovated EDGE room and filled the space with joy, laughter, fun, and prayer. At 5:00 p.m., we celebrated the 22nd Anniversary Life Teen Mass, which was followed by dinner and our first Life Night of the season. It is amazing to see the faith expand within the parish. I encourage all parishioners to pray for these programs for all the activities sponsored by the parish. Also, don’t sit on the sidelines ~ get involved! Each week, we post, via the bulletin and website, the different educational and spiritual activities here at St. Mary’s. Take advantage of them ~ you won’t be disappointed.
