It is that time again! This is one of the weekends that I always feel uncomfortable for the simple reason ~ I loathe asking people for money. Yet, as pastor, I must step outside my comfort-zone and do just that. This weekend is our parish Grand Annual Collection. Many have received (and even responded already) in the mail a detailed letter regarding the specific need for this year’s Grand Annual Collection. This year’s Grand Annual is being earmarked for the completion of the interior painting of the Church. Any proceeds that are left over from our goal will be applied to the parish debt. In order to complete that project, we have set the Grand Annual goal at $100,000. This is a goal that I am confident we can reach based on last year’s results. We ask that you consider what you would like to give in this year’s collection. PLEASE only give in a manner that your means allow. Any gift will be greatly appreciated. We can all work together to meet this year’s goal. Many thanks for all you do and may God continue to bless each of you for your love and generosity to our beloved parish.
