Parish Administrative Assistant: Dolores Johnson
Dolores began working at St. Mary’s in 2010. Before working here she was an Office Administrator at Teltron Engineering in Foxboro. She graduated from Aquinas College with an AS degree. She is married to her husband, Steve, and together they have two children, Steven Jr. and Julie Marie. Some of her favorite things are singing, reading and sharing time with family and friends. Dolores’ favorite thing about working at St. Mary’s is the spirit-filled people; who truly bring forth the light and love of Jesus.
Business Manager: Richard Killgoar
Rich began working at St. Mary’s in January 2006. He worked previously for the Mass Lottery Commission as an auditor. He attended Boston University and is a CPA in Massachusetts. He is married to his wife, Marilyn, and they have three children. Rich has been a Dedham resident since 1976. He enjoys golfing, painting, and running. Rich’s favorite thing about working at St. Mary’s is the people and being able to keep the parish vibrant.
Family Life Director: Elizabeth DeRosa
Elizabeth, a Dedham resident graduated from Stonehill College and undertook a career in education. She has taught Spanish both at Dedham High School and St. Joseph’s Preparatory High School in Brighton. After spending a couple years as Life Teen Director, Elizabeth helped establish the Parish Family Life Office in which she is the director.
Director of LifeTeen ~ Youth Minister ~ ROC Coordinator (Grades 7-8): Matthew Marquet
Matthew was raised in Massachusetts and graduated from Lesley University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He experienced a profound reversion to the Catholic faith in 2020 that culminated in receiving his Confirmation on the Easter Vigil in 2021 and became involved in the Life Teen ministry the same year. He found that he was passionate about leading teens to Christ, which caused him to enter into education. He has taught Theology at both Regina Caeli Academy in Dedham and Mount Alvernia High School in Newton. After Mount Alvernia High School closed in 2023, Matthew took over the role of Youth Minister and Rite of Confirmation Director where he hopes, through the grace of God, to continue to guide the young men and women of the parish into being more earnest and devout Catholics.
Director of Religious Education (Grades K-6): Olivia Dooley
Olivia was born and raised in Boston. She joined St. Mary’s in 2018 as a CORE member for the Life Teen Program. After receiving her Masters in Theological Studies at Boston College, Olivia sought opportunities to combine her passion for teaching, ministry, and theology in ways that would enable her to serve Christ’s mission and share her faith with others. This desire has led her to become the Campus Minister at Arlington Catholic High School in Arlington, MA; and ultimately led her to accept the role as St. Mary’s Director of Religious Education. Olivia looks forward to working with the people of St. Mary’s to form young disciples and teach them the richness of our faith.
Director of Music: Kyle Bertulli
Kyle was born and raised in Milford, Massachusetts, a town with a rich musical history. Kyle was very active in music throughout his time as a student in Milford Public Schools. The organ has been a key part of Kyle’s life for many years. He began studying piano at age eight and studying organ at age eleven. His work as an organist began as a preteen and he accepted his first regular church position at the age of fourteen. At St. Mary’s, Kyle serves as the Organist and Director of Choirs; building music programs and teaching people of all ages about music and to love music is another one of Kyle’s passions. Kyle holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Music Education and Organ Performance as well as a Master’s Degree in Music Education from University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Sacred Music from Boston University, with a concentration in organ, studying under well-known organist, Peter Sykes.
In addition to his work at St. Mary’s, Kyle is a music teacher, teaching both classroom music as well as private lessons in piano and organ, and serves as a substitute teacher in the Milford Public School system when his schedule permits. He has also performed as a concert organist in the Greater Worcester and Greater Boston areas as well as New Hampshire. In addition to Kyle’s life in music, he enjoys cooking, classic TV shows and movies, and vacationing in Maine.
Life Teen Music Minister: Brandon Fitts
Brandon Fitts is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in therapeutic recreation. Upon completing an internship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md., working on a pediatric mental health unit and assisting with special events, Brandon went to the Brookline Recreational Center. He has worked on and implemented programs that have reached out to teens, young adults, and families. Most recently Brandon has accepted the position of Music Director at St. Mary’s Life Teen Mass. He and his wife Christen are the proud parents of Ethan, Oliver, and Emmett..
Grounds & Maintenance: John Germano
John Germano began working at St Mary’s in October 2015 after 21 years at the Boston Herald. He resides in Dedham with his wife, Sharon and their 4 children – Christopher, Daniel, Michael and Katherine. John is a graduate of Catholic Memorial High School. In his spare time, John is an avid racquetball and basketball player. John is enjoying the challenge of keeping St Mary’s Church and Parish Center always looking good!
