There is a great sense of joy and much excitement as we enter into fall here at St. Mary’s! This past Sunday our new Religious Education Program format was launched. Some 200+ children and their parents were on hand to witness to the beauty of the gift of faith and what it means to be a saint. Our Adult Confirmation Classes began last Wednesday with Evening Prayer and our first session on the Apostles Creed. It is always beautiful to witness the handing on of the faith.
Next weekend our Confirmation Program will begin, and our Life Teen Program will celebrate 28 Years in the Life! This Twenty-eighth Anniversary is filled with great expectations for a phenomenal year. All of these wonderful programs remind us of the great importance of forming our young people, as well as ourselves, in the gift of our Catholic faith. Please pray for the students and for all of our Faith Formation Programs.
