This weekend, we celebrate the feast of the Most Holy Trinity. The Trinity manifests to us the immense love and intimacy that exists between the Three Persons of the Trinity, namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Holy Trinity is a communion of Persons and of Love. Not only that, but the Holy Trinity is the source of Love. This love is revealed in the account of the Gospel today: “God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.”
God so loved us that He sent Jesus into our world. Knowing the outcome, He still sent Christ into the world. His love was further unleashed on the world when He sent the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost to renew the face of the earth.
His love is evident in our lives, but is our love for Him evident in the way we live our lives?
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Wayne
